If you are happy with our no obligation quotation then we'll start by discussing and agreeing a date for the plumbing work to begin.

We will explain how the plumbing work will progress, and how long it will take. You'll be provided with a complete breakdown of the quote, including all plumbing or electric parts and material required.

We usually take an initial deposit before any work commences.

All products we supply will come with a manufacturer warranty.

We aim to assist you as quickly as possible, but first we will need to assess the job and parts required in order to discuss how long the repair or fitting will take, then we can agree on a date at your convenience.

If the job is fairly straight forward, we have the parts in stock and you're happy with the quotation, we may be able to get straight to work.

In most cases the answer is YES!

Electric and gas appliances should all be available to use during the majority of any plumbing and heating work required. If your gas or electricity does need to be briefly turned off, then we will advise you in advance and offer temporary solutions for heating.

It all depends on the water system in your home and type of work being carried out. We may be able to isolate parts of the plumbing system so you still have access to both heating and water.

In our experience repairs and installations take place within a day. However, if the plumbing work is more complex and requires additional time, we will do our upmost to ensure you're not left without heating or hot water.

YES. Once your new products are installed, we will run through all the controls and features to demonstrate how everything works, whilst leaving all the instruction manuals. We are available for contact following any work carried out should you have any questions. The products installed will all come with a manufacturer warranty.

In most cases all boilers can be repaired, but the age and condition of the boiler will help influence what is best in the long term for your home and pocket.

We'll inspect the boiler and water system in your home in order to advise on your options. We will then supply you with an estimate for the boiler repair and replacement parts so you can decide whether to proceed with the work, or consider a boiler upgrade. 

Good boilers should last between 10 and 15 years, though this will depend on the demand on your system, and if you service your boiler annually. If you discover you are having regular boiler problems and it requires expensive ongoing repairs, then it's probably time to consider a new boiler. It's also worth monitoring your energy bills, if these costs are rising; modern boilers can reduce your bills through efficiency.

There are lots of boiler brands and models available from a large range of boiler manufacturers. The most common boilers are powered by gas from the gas mains, but electric boilers are also available. We can also supply and fit units that use alternative fuels like oil or LPG. In the UK there are three main types of boiler used and fitted.

Combi-boilers are the most popular and usually the cheapest to run; they power your central heating and provide hot water on demand, but not at the same time! If you choose a combi boiler, you won't need a separate tank for hot water storage.

Combination boilers, these boilers store hot water and heat the property so you can use both at exactly the same time.

Finally, standard boilers, some older properties may be better suited to a standard boiler. These use both hot and cold water storage tanks and will work with electric or gas supplies.
